Corporate Logo Tattoos in Exchange for a 15% Raise – is it too much?

Employees at New York City’sRapid Realty’s are getting offered a 15% raise if they are willing to get the companies logo tattooed on them. The size and location of the tattooed logo is the choice of the employee. The idea was the brain child of one of the employees of Rapid Realty’s staff, who contacted the owner to ask his opinion on him getting the logo tattooed on him. The owner of RapidNYC.com Anthony Lolli went to the shop in support of his employee. Employees have been getting tattooed at Ink Stop Tattoo.  Lolli pays for the tattoos, which cost up to $300 each, currently 40 members of the Rapid Realty Staff have been tattooed… Anthony Lolli has yet to get his company logo himself.

Is this a level of commitment to a company or a way for employees to be gamed into making more money for the work they are already doing?
